Lowestoft porcelain blue and white tea pot Three Flowers pattern c1775. A fabulous Lowestoft teapot in perfect condition. Has a lid of a different pattern that does have some damage.
Teapot base has a crescent mark. The East Anglian fishing port of Lowestoft, began producing porcelain in the late 1750s.
Output was much smaller than Worcester. This teapot dates to c1775.
Main teapot is Three Flowers or Rose and Moth pattern. Lid is rare Cottage and Fence (Long Fence) pattern.Dimensions: 18.5cms across handle and spout. X 11.6cms diameter at widest. Condition: Main teapot is superb with no damage.
Both teapot and lid have green translucency of the porcelain body. Lid has some chips but finial is original and intact.
